When providing Software Development Services CCMI utilizes a formal project management process.  It is  based upon the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Evolutionary Spiral Process and its Capability Maturity Model (CMM). CCMI utilizes customer and employee feedback for the periodic reevaluation of the company's development process. The CCMI process is defined and measurable.  CCMI has designed systems using both structured and object oriented analysis and design techniques.

CCMI specializes in the use of Microsoft .NET development tools and products.  While CCMI has successfully completed projects on system platforms such as the NonStop™ Himalaya Server , Unix and IBM mainframe platforms its focus is on .NET development.  In the year 2000 CCMI began tracking .NET products and training its personnel on .NET development tools.  CCMI is committed to Microsoft .NET development for Web and mobile applications.  CCMI has been a Microsoft Certified Partner since year 2000.  At CCMI each and every employee is required to be a Microsoft Certified Professional.

CCMI is also very strong in the development of applications and solutions on NonStop™ Himalaya Server systems.  CCMI has a wide range of capabilities on the Himalaya platform. CCMI has developed Pathway applications, EDI applications, communications line handlers and complex device handlers for the Himalaya product line.  Many CCMI Himalaya  professionals have over twenty years experience developing software on the NonStop™ platform.

In the area of UNIX systems CCMI has successfully developed several systems that required it to write custom software for Sun server platforms.  While CCMI does not market itself as a UNIX shop it has the capabilities to develop applications, communications software or device drivers for the SUN Solaris or BSD platforms.

CCMI has also developed applications for the IBM mainframe.  This includes the porting of a Himalaya Pathway application to the IBM system.  CCMI has developed applications using COBOL within CICS accessing IDMS and DB2 databases.  CCMI also has experience developing Java applications with the IBM WebSphere product.
